A Travel Consultant Assessment Organisation is an approved company responsible for providing apprenticeship assessments in the Travel and Tourism sector. As an assessment organisation, we ensure that apprentices meet the standards and competencies outlined in the relevant apprenticeship standards.
What the Role Entails
Travel Consultants play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing complex travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, and additional services. Their expertise ensures travellers enjoy a seamless journey and a fulfilling experience at their destination, consistently striving to exceed expectations. Usually, Travel Consultants specialise in either ‘corporate’ or ‘leisure’ travel, but employers agree that the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours required are transferable across the industry
Components of the Travel Consultant Assessment
Order of Assessment Methods
The assessment methods can be delivered in any order. The result of one assessment method does not need to be known before starting the next.
Performance in the Assessments determines the overall grade of:
• Fail
• Pass

• Distinction
Professional discussion
A Professional Discussion focused on evaluating the apprentices' performance throughout the program. This discussion will use their ‘My Journey’ portfolio to highlight and clarify their understanding of all the assessment criteria covered.
Graded as Fail, Pass, Merit or Distinction
Knowledge Test
A 120-minute online multiple-choice exam, with questions covering both corporate and leisure travel options.
Graded distinction, merit, pass or fail.
Simple, Easy-to-use Online Platform
Our platform (epaPRO) is user-friendly and offers a one-stop solution for registering apprentices, engaging with the team, accessing resources, and monitoring progress.

Steadfast Assessment provides free resits for online assessments in line with the requirements of the relevant assessment plan.
