An Administration Assistant Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation is an approved company that is responsible for providing assessments for apprenticeships in the Professional Services field. As an Assessment Organisation in this sector, we will ensure that apprentices meet the required standards and competencies outlined in the relevant apprenticeship standards.
What the Role Entails
The broad purpose of the occupation is to carry out routine administration tasks that support operations. The work is carried out under supervision following set procedures for tasks. An assistant administrator is an integral part of the team and organisation responsible for supporting the efficient organisational functions and operations. The assistant administrator is responsible for assisting colleagues with routine duties. These can vary depending on the team structure and size of business.
Components of the Administration Assistant Assessment
Assessment Methods
This apprenticeship includes two assessment methods:
- Portfolio
- Project with Presentation
Apprentices can be assessed at any appropriate point during their apprenticeship programme.
Assessment Options
We offer two assessment options:
Standard Price
Steadfast Assessment will assess both the Portfolio and the Project with Presentation.
Reduced Price (Shared Assessment Model)
For a lower fee, the assessment responsibility can be shared. Under this option:
- The training provider assesses the Portfolio.
- Steadfast Assessment assesses the Project with Presentation.
This flexible approach enables providers to reduce costs while ensuring independent assessment of the project and presentation element.
Assessment Outcomes
The assessment outcomes group and summarise the knowledge and skills that must be demonstrated in assessments.
All assessment outcomes must be assessed.
Performance Descriptors
Performance descriptors describe the level of performance required to achieve a pass or distinction grade.
Assessment organisations must design assessments that align with these descriptions.
